Remote · Full-time

Build product and infrastructure that turns software behavior into fast, useful feedback for agents and reviewers.

About Strust

Strust is building the behavioral eval layer for software changes: deterministic feedback for coding agents and clear behavioral diffs for human reviewers.

We started with COBOL-to-Java migration because a running legacy system is an unusually strong reference. The larger mission is to help every team understand what agent-written software actually did before they trust the change.

The role

Members of Technical Staff at Strust work across the product surface, evaluation infrastructure, and the integrations that connect them. You might make a behavioral diff easier to understand one week and harden a replay pipeline the next.

We are looking for a product-minded generalist who can move from an ambiguous user problem to a reliable implementation and stay close to the people using it.

What you'll do

Ship product features from early prototype through production across the Strust stack.
Build clear interfaces around trace capture, deterministic replay, eval authoring, and behavioral review.
Work with customers to understand where coding agents lose the thread and turn those failures into product improvements.
Improve the reliability, performance, and observability of systems that run and compare software behavior.
Write tests and documentation that make the codebase easier for both people and coding agents to change safely.
Help shape engineering practices and technical direction as the team grows.

You might be a fit if

You have shipped production software and can explain the tradeoffs behind your decisions.
You are comfortable crossing frontend, backend, and infrastructure boundaries to finish a user-facing outcome.
You can enter an unfamiliar codebase, form a clear model of it, and make focused changes without losing rigor.
You care about correctness, edge cases, and the experience of the person debugging a failure.
You communicate clearly, ask good questions, and enjoy working with a high degree of ownership.

Nice to have

Experience with developer tools, testing infrastructure, or evaluation systems.
Experience building AI-assisted products or tooling for coding agents.
Python, TypeScript, JVM, or legacy-modernization experience.

What you get

Meaningful ownership while the product and team are still taking shape.
Direct exposure to customers, technical decisions, and the company roadmap.
A focused mission: make software behavior easier for agents to test and humans to understand.
